Special carnevale treats!

These have been in all the shops since we got back from Xmas, intrigued I bought some and yes, they were good. I would say basically butter, a little flour and sugar and fried in butter. Coated in icing sugar. Great. So I was pretty happy to get back late with the boys and find Bruno, our landlord baker had dropped off his own batch for us, the best in Varese apparently. They were amazing. Not so good for the diet mind you...
