THE START ....

.... of another Summer!

As we head into our Summer season the Rural Fire Service are hard at it getting set up to fight any fire out breaks. One of their main "units" these days are using these convert panes with a belly full of retardant or water they can help slow down the front line of a fire very quickly. Sadly last season was the worst for many years, so we are all hoping the forecast for a wet summer comes to be!

I was out late arvo as it took of from its base here at the nearby RAAF Richmond Air base.

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE and slowing still catching up ... 
..BUT maybe over the weekend things will slip away again as we have both footy codes playing out the Grand Finals. Aussie Rules in Brisbane tomorrow, and on Sunday night the mighty Penrith Panthers against Melbourne Storm in the Rugby League. Go Panthers.
