trail fail

Antony and I planned a day in the hills while the bigger children were at school. The autumn colours were mesmerising but the driving rain was bitterly cold so we cut the walk short to ensure Isaac didn’t end up hypothermic. The descent was a veritable slip and slide and we all got home cold and muddy. Bring on the half term fish and chips!

Gratefuls:

1. Amazing hues of orange and gold under grey skies;
2. The encouragement of answered prayers;
3. A favourite biscuit and a hot cup of tea after our damp walk.
