"Zoo Poo" day :-)

As per the last couple of years, Saughton Mains Allotments Association have once again kindly arranged for the delivery of several large, truck-loads (see extras!) of "Zoo Poo" to the main Saughton site ...

... zoo poo is 'garden gold/manure' from Edinburgh Zoo - well rotted manure (1year old) from hoofed animals at the Zoo.  :-))

The usual high excitement ensued amidst the near 200 plot-holders as the initial deliveries arrived, and you can see from the main-snap that my allocated quantity (5 barrow-loads for £5!) is now safely stored in one of our large compost areas.

Bumper crops are now, once again, all but guaranteed for 2021 ;-)
