Laugarvatn

The weather was sunny so we decided to take a road trip. At first we aimed for Þingvellir once again, but then we continued to Laugarvatn.
We had coffee at the new spa (Fontana) and then we walked around the little hamlet and visited a handicraft store, where I saw this cute little fairy castle. I somehow thought it should always be rather warm at Laugarvatn, but it was very cold and windy, so we didn't go up on the mountain, which is a recommended hike. Instead we visited the caravan park, which is one of a kind in Iceland.
