Autumn glow

Late afternoon sun lit up my crabapple tree, its fiery red set off beautifully against the evergreen Boxwood and further back the two Birch trees that are a mixed blessing - beautiful autumn colours, but they have also grown so large and dense that my garden is in full shade until lunchtime even on the sunniest summer day.
