Burying toys

Purdy carried her 'Kong' all around our woodland for this morning's walk.  Yesterday they accompanied me when I went to plant woodland bluebells in a shady spot, but I had to suspend the operation because the toy was being deposited in the holes as I dug them.  It seems that the burying of food for later and maybe leaner times is a natural instinct that is continued to this day with objects like dog toys.
