Overexposed

Some days, the blip is an act of last minute desperation; some days (usually the weekend) you have to spend an hour submerged in photo selection.

Today was one such - do I blip the fallen tree (to show the inlaws); my experiments with the pinhole lens (to show my husband); the camping playdate fantasy (complete with mathematics homework and badminton rackets!); or the hours of water sports?

I took technically better portraits, but this was the one that held my attention, even with the distractions in the background. The skin, bleached out with overexposure, draws attention to the eyes and lips, in a mysterious way.
