Dragonfly!
This is the dragonfly sculpture that Brian "sponsored" as part of the St Barnabas charity display earlier this year. Tonight it is my emergency Blip!
I ended up having to take my mobile phone to a repair shop in town as the rice did not work its magic unfortunately. They are optimistic they can fix it, and it will cost £35 so not too bad! The guy said he may be able to fix it today, but if not it would be Tuesday. He said he'd call on our landline if it was done today.
I forgot to take my camera when I went into town, but once home I stayed in in case he called to say my phone was ready.
This meant I had to answer the landline even if I didn't recognise the number. Normally I don't bother as the only people who call are aggressive telemarketers or scammers.
Today was no exception.
There was an energy company that called three times (different people) and a scam that calls, says you've won 10 free lottery tickets. If you accept they call the following week and say that one of your tickets won and they now need your bank details to transfer the cash! The guy rang back again after I said I wanted no part of it to tell me off for being so sceptical and to call my intelligence into question for even thinking it might be a scam! (It definitely is one though!)
I didn't get a call from the phone shop though, so now it will be Tues before my phone will (hopefully) be sorted. I was still without a Blip so I took this!!
I have watched Rugby League tonight and Wigan Warriors had a good win against Salford tonight - 58-12! Celebrating with a cider now!
