:: Gathering nuts ::

"This is the Tale about a tail - a tail that belonged to a little red squirrel, and his name was Nutkin"


I have lovely memories of being read Beatrix Potter stories by my parents at bedtime.  

Today on our walk, The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin was in my mind.  
 There were so many nuts on the ground but we didn't see many squirrels surprisingly.   

Of course Squirrel Nutkin was a very naughtly squirrel and  nearly ended up coming to a nasty ending by the owl, Old Mr. Brown :)
