Rose reward

We spent the day house cleaning. Not my favourite occupation by any means. My favourite housework quote is by American comedian Joan Rivers. ‘I hate housework. You [do it] and six months later you have to start all over again.’ Quentin Crisp on the other hand said there is no need to do any housework at all, because after four years the dirt doesn’t get any worse.
 
Still, we were rewarded by another of our roses producing its first bloom of the year.
