Prickly friend

We found this little hedgehog in our lane in the daylight. This usually means that something is wrong. He spent the night in our tortoise room and we took him to the Animal Shelter in the morning. Needless to say he escaped his box! He is quite tiny too so would not have made the winter hibernation without putting on more weight. We have called him Oscar, a name was needed so that we can see how his recovery is going.
