TGIF

Slow start this morning...enjoying a lie in, then up to chat and have a delicious T special bacon bagel before P arrived with his iPad that’s been going wrong recently. We had a long drawn out attempt to find his password (two books full of tiny writing with loads of passwords some of which are different but for the same item). Chatted about his sciatica, Strictly (he doesn’t like where it’s been going the last few years so has given up on it), Diesel’s limp, his desire to clear all his stuff out in the house, and how much he has on his to do list. T’s new business cards arrived....he was very pleased with them. I think his garden business is officially launched!
Wish I was closer to do more to help him, although in many ways he’s very self sufficient but being able to pop in each week and take him some home cooking would be nice. I’ll maybe do some and take it to him this week....
After he left I headed over to MK and K and I went for a wander round various shops looking for birthday presents for Mx. It was a sociable and laid back wander and although we weren’t very focussed I did manage to get some things for Mx and also some ingredients to bake cakes for both P and to take down for Mx’s birthday on Sunday.
Tea and a Chorley cake back at K’s and O arrived with a huge harvest of various very interesting mushrooms from the woods and fields nearby, these ones are field blewits apparently and he fried a couple up for us to taste...delicious. Almost game like and kept their colour.
Back to T&Kt’s and we had dinner and watched a daft film then had a fairly early night.
