Coffee and catch-up with Nancy

My Saturday morning routine seems to have become a regular meet-up with friend Nancy. If the weather is suitable, we meet out in the garden and take our own mug of coffee with us.

However, if, like today, it's too cold/wet/generally not pleasant enough, we take a stroll up to Doyle's and treat ourselves to coffee there. This morning we had a scone and jam as well.

It is ridiculous that we aren't allowed to go into each other's home, where we're far less likely to pick up the virus, but them's the rules at the moment and we're following them, just to keep in Nicola's good books.

If any of you were watching 'Landward' last night, we will have seen that Scotland's Tree of the Year was won by The Survivor Tree in the Borders. My tree in Milarrochy Bay was placed third.
