probably. The moles have had a field day (sorry) with mounds appearing overnight. I had hoped they would go away and plague someone else, but no. We called in the mole catcher.

This is one of the traps. Unsprung the metal bars are parallel. If a mole is caught the buried lower ends spring towards each other and the visible bars diverge. I'll wait for the expert to revisit and take a look. Sometimes a cunning mole will dig down and pass under the trap but in doing so the disturbance activates it. We'll see. 

Do I propose posting a photo of a dead mole? Emphatically no!
