Savelsbos

The bike ride became a walk. The walk became long, but in familiar territory. We drove to the Savelsbos. The Savelsbos is a 6 km long, often narrow belt of sloping forests on the (often steep) eastern Meuse valley slope to the east and southeast of Maastricht. We lived close to the Savelsbos for 8 years and of course we walked there often.
I think one of my feet has walked enough now, but maybe will feel good again tomorrow.
