Sunset after a stormy day.

Today we drove to Eriskay . It was deserted - hailstorms and very strong winds buffeted the van . But it was very atmospheric. We had our coffee and watched the waves crashing on the rocks at the pier.
All the ferries are cancelled today.
We came home here about 4.30 and went for a walk at the shore near the house. There was a momentary glimpse of the setting sun before the driving rain caught up with us.
These are beautiful islands - everywhere you turn there is beauty- hail, rain or shine.
I think so...so for me it is so.
