Sun burst
Up betimes for a walk in the Pentlands (getting up at approximately the time we would have got up if the extra hour had not been given to us). It was chucking it down as we sat at the breakfast table, but starting to clear by the time we got in the car. There was still a lot of cloud in the sky when we reached Harlaw reservoir car park, and still quite dark, but when the sun burst over Black Hill as we came back to the car park, the light was simply magnificent.
I'm not 100% sure that the day has lived up to this early promise. I had a nap this afternoon, and apart from that I've not done very much. I kept meaning to read my book, but somehow it didn't happen. Mr A is cooking a piece of lamb in the oven, and that smells delicious.
