De Notelaer

A walk in the grounds of Kasteel d’Ursel in Hingene. This is the Notelaer pavilion, built by Wolfgang-Guillaume, third duke d'Ursel. It sits on the Scheldt dike overlooking the river for posh dinner parties. The photo is on the other side of the pavilion where you also see the house for the skipper (and family) of the ferry across the river. The building also housed an inn for the passing travelers.
