Surreal moment!

Today would have been my late husband's birthday and he always had some Liquorice Allsorts as a birthday present because they were his favourite.
I went to buy the papers today and the sweets are next to the papers. There was this one solitary packet hanging all by itself - the only one in the shop!
Of course I had to buy it and the contents are now half eaten! (and I don't particularly like them except the coconut)
A similar thing happened to one of my sons last year when he saw a discarded bag of them left on the check-out on the same day, and he too felt obliged to buy them.
