Mountain tops in the Alps all have crosses, but popular areas with uplift often get the 'photo' treatment - providing 'picture frames' for the public to stand in and have their picture taken. But lately, the new phenomenon of stone arches has become popular. This is at the top of the Kaiserberg lift - which whilst a bit of a cheat to get us up high, means that we can do a decent high-level walk starting from here on a day when the weather is particularly fine.
