Banana Trees

A little bit of this and that and the daylight hours were gone:  Aptis,; repotting our sad-looking magnolia up on the roof terrace; feeding our hibiscus tree on the patio, which continues to bloom, but many of the buds still dry up and fall off; exercise walks throughout the day;  more buying of soil (well, that was Bb actually), finished off the home-made soup for lunch, clothes washings up on the roof terrace, attended a webinar.  Bb did the weekly food shop.  

The bananas tress in the corner here, touch wood, need very little care.  There are three on the go at the moment and the big one you see here will soon be for the chop to let the other little ones grow.   We sometimes let them grow taller than this, but this ones leaning over a bit and so the plants underneath soon won't get much light.

A fun Zoom catch up with blippers Arclight and Alf was the highlight of the day and then home-made spaghetti bolognese for dinner.  Nice and easy as it was from our freezer stock. A little bit of  Grand Designs viewing and then to bed, hoping that all our devices would move forward an hour during the night!  I'm back-blipping this, so they all did move forward except the fitbit app showed that we should be doing our 250 steps every hour from 8-5 instead of 9-6 - rectified itself the next day!
