Crossing the ford

This morning I went on a walk with the walking group.  We walked from Trefonen in sun and rain, going through fields, along lanes, partly along Offa's Dyke, through lots of mud and over two fords so plenty of variety!

This ford was the deeper of the two, we teetered along the slabs to get across and luckily no-one slipped in (although it would have made a spectacular blip!)

On my way home I called at F's house as I was passing the door and was fortunate enough to be given some of his special cheese on toast - it was most gratefully received!

Thank you very much for all the stars and hearts for my canal blip yesterday - I think that it's the first time that one of my photos has been on the first page of popular!
