Getaway

Met up with Family S for a lovely riverside walk. I was impressed just how far the Bear would walk with K holding her hand - she is a great admirer of K! 

Arrived at our unusually grand holiday house - a small perk (for us) of covid restrictions, not allowing multiple families to gather in these humongous self-catering places. We got a good deal! It is clearly less good for those who own such properties, but nice for us to stay somewhere we probably wouldn't have otherwise. The children were very excited to explore the place, full of interesting old bits and bobs, and some noteworthy art on the walls.

Takeaway fish and chips for dinner, and N had a half lobster.
