The month of apple picking, autumnal sun, mushroom foraging, michaelmas daisies, bulb planting, allotment planning....

But also leaf raking, gutter clearing, chimney sweeping. All good but less fun, perhaps. We certainly haven't spotted Mr McLenaghan stepping time around our chimney pots.
