Autumn in Ashridge

We woke up to a pleasant, bright morning and decided to get out while we could to look for some more Autumn colours.  It is a while since we went to Ashridge, so we chose to make that our destination.

When we arrived at around 10am, virtually every parking space was already taken and there were many people around.  However, in the large area of Ashridge, it was easy to get off the main paths and into the forest where there was hardly a soul (just a few deer who moved too quickly for me to grab a decent shot).
