East from Brough Head
It was really warm in the sun today in Birsay- I had to delayer- especially given that it is nearly November. No wind, though it did get cooler when the clouds drifted across the sun. About 23 harbour seals were hauled out on the shore (extra). The usual birds including- wigeon, ringed plover, turnstone, the first two purple sandpipers I've seen this autumn etc. An alien was resting at the Point of Buckquoy (extra) probably because he'd come from Sirius 5, a siriusly long way.
