Ancient Orchard

Visited my dear friend M at Street - such a lovely day that we wandered up the lane near her home and started chatting to a couple who owned this piece of land although they now live in Surrey . It had been in their family and they assured us they had no plans to develop it but to preserve it . There are three species of orchid there in the Spring and we were invited to have a wander.
