Lift Off

Driving round checking on the influx of migrant birds I got diverted by the stonechats - well there was nothing else there....!

He was perching and diving round to get his food, sorting out his partner and another male daring to be in their vicinity. Evening light, a sun sinking fast below the horizon gave the field a beautiful orange glow.
