First Poppy Laying

Today sees the start of the November Ceremonies, that period each year when the nation comes together to remember. The 2020 events se the inauguration of the new Remembrance Garden at Kimberley Park, a more fitting venue, more room and safer.
We managed to complete the service before the heavens opened including laying the seven family poppies.

In the evening Clare had two of her friends round for ‘Gin Club’ so I took myself off to where else but the rugby club; Scotland v Georgia followed by Exeter Chiefs v Wasps and finished off with France v Wales.
Burger and chips for the walk home.
