Heaton Park

Stayed overnight near Heaton Park in Manchester yesterday. It has been many many years since I have been in Heaton Park, but, this morning, the weather was lovely, and, we were right next door so a little amble around the park was called for.

The hall sadly looks all but unused nowadays - a real shame.

Gail sat on the Lions outside the main doors to the old Hall just as she and her sister did as children. I have spared her blushes by not publishing that photo (...today).

A couple of hours back at Gail's dad's and then a steady drive home.
