BBQ's and dog washing

We had a great day today! We were invited to a BBQ at Ruth and Simon's in Arabian Ranches.

The husbands went off for a round of tennis. Stu was a bit hesitant and worried as he hasn't played tennis for a long time and has a rather competitive streak! They mustn't have been too hard on him as he returned with a smile, and I is keen to play again.

Chester and Fudge, the Chocolate Labradors needed a wash. Ruth had been savouring the occasion for Oscar, as he loved it so much last time! We were smarter about the preparation this time and bought a change of clothes! Oscar did not disappoint, he was very interested in using the hose and gave Ruth the wash of a lifetime. Bailee was much more precise and thorough, actually aiming and washing the dogs.

We all enjoyed a BBQ feast in the sun. Chicken, lamb chops, tuna steaks, macaroni cheese, burgers (The twins favourite) and fruit salad and icecream to follow. I took along a banana cake and we all shared that too.
