From Outside The Walls

Not quite the trip we planned but Mr Kit and I have left Sushi at home to come for a night away to Whitby. We had planned on going to Ravenscar to see the seals but that was aborted when we got there and half way along the walk down the cliffs weather turned for the worst so we headed into Whitby.

After lunch, the sun was shining and we had a lovely afternoon afternoon wandering around Whitby town. We headed up to the Abbey as the sun was setting but we could only admire it from outside the walls as we couldn’t get tickets to get in.

After a wash and change in the hotel we had a wander around nighttime Whitby and finished off with a lovely meal on the harbour.
