Mistero risolto

We finally understand why Teru doesn't want witnesses as he jumps on the bookcase (here): in fact it's quite embarrassing...or hilarious, it depends who you ask.

From the photo you can see some scratches on the wood of the bookcase. Teru apparently is still afraid to jump the last step (here) so she gets up to put her front legs on the last surface, and with those she grabs to try to push up her backside, while using her hind legs as 'crampons' to try to help herselves in what is a real climb. But the surface is smooth, so they keep slipping, and so all these scratches are formed.

Hilarious to look at, you can see her squirming, with her hind legs moving in search of a foothold...

Ok...apart from hilarious for us and embarrassing for a cat, there is also the problem of damag...another solution will have to be found...

Finalmente abbiamo capito perchè Teru non vuole testimoni mentre salta sulla libreria (qui): in effetti è alquanto imbarazzante...o esilarante, dipende a chi lo si chiede. 

Dalla foto si possono vedere dei graffi presenti sul legno della libreria. Teru a quanto pare ha ancora paura di saltare l'ultimo gradino (qui) quindi si alza per mettere le zampe anteriori sull'ultima superficie, e con quelle fa presa per cercare di spingere su il suo didietro, al contempo usando le zampe posteriori come 'ramponi' per cercare di aiutarsi in quella che è una vera e propria scalata. Ma la superficie è liscia, quindi continuano a scivolare, e così si formano tutti questi graffi.

Esilarante da guardare, la vedi proprio che si dimena, con le zampe posteriori che si muovo alla ricerca di un appiglio...

Ok...a parte esilarante per noi ed imbarazzante per un gatto, c'è anche il problema del danno...si dovrà trovare un'altra soluzione...
