HEY GET OFF MY PATCH.....

.... well the rain stopped for most of the day (but returning tomorrow with another whack) so called by the Lagoon to see what was happening!

Plenty of movement by the "normal" residents, and found this Dusky Moorhen giving chase to a Wood Duck who was getting too close to the growing chicks.

The light was dull but made for some interesting shots.

... notice I missed yesterday - whilst not unusual to miss a few days along the way, I was a bit flat after the mighty Penrith Panthers ended up getting beaten in the Grand Final 26-20 by Melbourne Storm. After a torrid first half and a few, well dubious decisions (both ways) Melbourne led 22 - 0, so as you can see the young Penrith team settled and all but won in the last minute of play. Oh well, they will have learnt a lot this year and will be all the better next year. If you are keen on some hilights check this out.
