Sunday afternoon walk through Wick Woods

What a beautiful afternoon!

I normally cycle to the local lakes but this time I walked with my husband. We explored a different series of footpaths to get there; this was taken en route from Wick Woods.

The lakes, as usual, looked gorgeous in the afternoon sun. We came back via the Thames Path / Sustrans cycle track where the Thames looked tranquil and calm.

P.S. I'm dead impressed with the new Blipfoto iPad app. It's fascinating and sends you a feed of what all your subscribers/ subscriptions are faving, how many stars they are giving to others, who is getting in the spotlight, etc. It's already introduced me to some excellent journal I knew nothing about before.
