one day in France

The bureau des Etrangers in La Rochelle!

We had rain and wind all day, but we had been invited to the administrative centre in La Rochelle for an appointment at 3pm! We showed our passports and had our fingerprints taken like criminals, and were told that we'd get a Carte de Séjour, but they didn't know when or if we'd have to pay!
For non EU citizens, like we'll be, it costs 225€ and has to be renewed every year, but they didn't know if that would apply to us being Brits!
Never mind, we're in their system now, and easily identified if we commit a crime!
