Foliage
On a day of far too many humdrum activities and far too much rain, this riot of colour outside our back door had to suffice as today's image.
On my weekly trip to Sainsbury's, to get my Dad's shopping, I take what joy I can in observing the folly of others. Today's top examples were:
1) a couple who examined closely each of about 30 packs of grapes, picking them up, turning them over, reading about the contents, discussing the options before selecting one. And then, as I swooped to grab one of the rejected packs, they returned to change their minds.
2) A woman with a very full trolley of goods, all packed into carrier bags before she got to the till, where she had to empty all the bags on to the conveyor belt for scanning by the assistant, and then repack the bags.
Ah, the mysteries of human behaviour.
