Ending in the letter R

Many thanks to Apollo Fly for hosting Tiny Tuesday this month.

I was surprised at how tricky it was to find something small that ends in the letter r. I could not find the chess set, I had wanted to use the rook or tower and create an image with that, but nowhere to be found.

We went out but nothing appeared. So, here is the calendaR with its saying which I thought was rather prescient....
