Squirrel.

This little squirrel,  high up in one of the oak trees at the allotments, was making a pitiable little sound which made me look up.  He became my blip for the day.  Wondered what all the noise was about - perhaps he was just fed up with the rain and thought he would just cry it out to make himself feel better.
Below him is a ditch and overgrown hedge where the foxes lay up for the day.  Perhaps from his lofty spot he could see one stirring itself to come out for the evening and it meant he was stuck up the tree until safe to move and get back home warm and dry.  
Wet most of the day and just managed a small stroll before it became heavy rain.
