Today's the day ............................ to climb

Another lovely day to be in the garden - and we're both feeling incredibly pleased with ourselves with what we've managed to achieve. It seems impossible that everything was covered with snow only a few days ago.

Will climbed up to clean out the bird nestboxes on the birch tree. This is a tree that we planted about twenty years ago as a thin sapling. It's now much taller than the house and he was up about twenty feet off the ground to reach this one. It's a good job that he's got a head for heights because there's no way you'd get me up there.

Hope it was worth it - and some bird applies for a mortgage ........................
