North Sea Churn

Exited the cottage early so we could park at Runswick Bay and walk along the beach . As we predicted the little beach cafe was closed for the season but we had our own flask anyway . 
We picked up odd bits of beach glass as we strolled .Lots of cliff falls as the geology is very similar to the Jurassic Coast .
We managed to complete our two miles before the rain came .
Picnic in the car followed by a drive over the Moors in fog to Helmsley for a coffee and a successful shop for a peaked cap for Paul and some really ace jigsaws from a discount bookshop to fulfil our newly acquired jigsaw addiction .
