Under the spreading chestnut tree.

I liked the pattern of the horse chestnut leaves against the sky. This huge tree has low spreading branches which form a sort of cave round the trunk. There were many empty husks in the leaf litter but only a few still contained conkers. (See extra)I love the idea that nobody else has ever seen the shining new conker as it emerges from the split seed case.
