Back to school

Back to school for the new half term.

Winter uniform is now required, which MrsCyclops prefers as it is a smart and fit for purpose trousers / jumper / fleece-lined raincoat combo.

Oh what a rainy one it was today. Not a good day for Play Rangers so we stayed in.

We set up a domino rally style thing using duplo and jenga bricks, and watched some Power Rangers.

We also did some reading homework which was to do with discussing how problems are resolved in books we have read. Then we saw there was a note asking CyclopsJnr to take a placing test in Reading Eggs, to evaluate his starting point for P2. CyclopsJnr did really well with the test and the result was it skipped him ahead a level (ten lessons) from where he'd worked up to. So that was encouraging.
