Reflections

Reflections of sunlight
From a day ill spent
Glorious reflections
Highlighting discontent

What started well
Spoilt by choice of word
Bitter recriminations
Now all that's heard

A question without answers
Thrown in boiling pot
What repercussions
Are not given thought

Good started the day
That now is turned to dust
Sunshine smiles
Now tinged with rust

Reflections of sunlight
Seen through bitter tears
Nothing at all left
Other than to face my fears
