Things we forgot to teach

We spoke to Sam in Brighton - he's having a great time. But it seems we've overlooked some coaching in core life-skills.  Most importantly: How and when to send a birthday card to his brother (whose birthday it is tomorrow).

Specifically we had to explain:
- Where to buy stamps (Mother is not the only source, and they are widely available from retail outlets including Post Offices - oh and the red one is your best bet if you need it delivered quickly).
- On that note, it takes at least a day (even with the red stamp) for said brother to receive card once you've sent it, as it has to travel overland in a van.

Ben - if you're reading this I predict that your birthday card from Sam will be late...

Sam - it was fabulous to see you and talk to you and to see you smiling and happy...what a lot you are learning!
