No entry (if you're a deer)

N and I went for a walk this morning before the forecast rain arrived. We are very fortunate to be able to walk out of our garden into the woodland and hillside behind our house. N chose to go up the hill at great speed but my preference was for a gentler walk amongst the trees. This green gate was near the end of my walk and separates the woodland where red deer graze from the woodland where the deer definitely are not allowed because it is on the edge of our garden. Gone are the days when the deer enjoyed a tasty snack, nibbling the roses growing around our door!
