Still a few left

As soon as the blackberries came out, people descended on them with bowls and Tupperware, stripping what they could lay hands on, depriving me of my passing mini-snack on my walk. Weeks later, a few still remain, where my longer arms may yet reach them. They are much sweeter now, too.
