Catching up

This book has been on my bookshelves for many years. The front cover shows Emma Thompson in the BBC adaptation of the Balkan Trilogy . After a slow start I am now really enjoying it and am two thirds the way through the trilogy which is based in Romania in WW2. I have even ordered a copy of the DVD of the TV programme.
