Fungi forage

After our warm summer and damp (= very wet) autumn the fungi around us are putting on a great display.   Tried a hand held focus stack of this one and it nearly worked !!

Lighting the woodburner now to get a bit of heat into the house before we have to turn on the central heating for the winter.  The fire is always more appealing than the clanking of the boiler and creaking of the pipes and radiators as they heat up and cool down.   Winter is on its way :-(.
